Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IBMS and security system projects in Mumbai. This role requires a balance of project management discipline and practical execution experience across installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for IBMS, CCTV, ACS, and related security systems from kickoff through handover.
• Plan project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to support smooth delivery.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and final acceptance activities at site.
• Track project quality, safety, documentation, and compliance with agreed specifications and standards.
• Prepare and review project reports, commissioning records, handover documents, and site progress updates.
• Identify project risks and support timely issue resolution to keep execution on track.
• Support customer communication throughout the project lifecycle and ensure a professional handover experience.

How You Will Do It

• Own your projects with accountability, a strong safety mindset, and attention to detail from planning through handover.
• Stay close to the site work and customer expectations so issues are identified early and resolved quickly.
• Work transparently with customers, vendors, and internal teams to remove obstacles and keep delivery moving.
• Use clear reporting, practical problem-solving, and regular follow-up to improve execution every day.
• Build trust through collaboration, dependable communication, and a shared focus on successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in project execution or project management within IBMS, ELV, or security systems.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), IBMS, and related security products.
• Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project handover activities.
• Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site activities independently.
• Good understanding of project documentation, progress tracking, and site execution practices.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ELV system integration and building automation environments.
• Exposure to larger commercial, industrial, or infrastructure project sites.
• Knowledge of BMS protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Experience in preparing detailed commissioning and handover documentation.
