Assistant Manager
Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance and Inspections:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, adhering to established protocols to minimize downtime and prevent electrical failures.
Inventory and Spare Parts Management:
- Manage inventory of electrical components and spare parts, ensuring accurate records and timely procurement to maintain optimal operational readiness and support ongoing maintenance activities.
Shift-Based Maintenance:
- Perform electrical maintenance during assigned shifts to ensure reliable system operation. Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize production disruptions.
Equipment Monitoring:
- Monitor electrical equipment performance using advanced tools to detect and prevent potential failures. Use data analysis to maintain optimal functionality and reduce downtime.
Preventive Maintenance Planning:
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and ensure reliability. Coordinate with shift engineers for consistent maintenance practices.
Safety and Compliance:
- Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations. Implement corrective actions to address hazards and improve workplace safety.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support during shifts, assisting with equipment start-up and shutdown to ensure smooth operations and support production goals.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate logs and shift reports of maintenance activities and issues. Ensure documentation is up-to-date for shift handovers and compliance.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is essential. Additional certifications in electrical safety, troubleshooting, or automation would be beneficial. Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment is crucial.
Work Experience (Range of years):
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations within an industrial setting. Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, ensure equipment reliability, and adhere to safety standards. Demonstrated ability to work in a shift environment and handle emergencies effectively.
