EY GDS - Delivery Excellence Senior position

As a part of our global team you will be part of GDS projects as Delivery Excellence management professional. You will be involved in working on challenging problems and creating next generation delivery excellence platforms.

The opportunity

We are offering you a demanding role. You will use the most advanced Quality models to implement the newest delivery excellence solutions. This position includes possibility to interact within international environment and work with the most recognizable and influential players in Delivery Excellence space.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams responsible for delivering the middleware solutions. Work with offshore, client, onsite teams as part of the project.
• Provide integration solutions for enterprise systems using different middleware platforms.
• Hold sessions with end users and/or functional consultants to gather business requirements for technical design documentation and implementation.
• Analysing current design and deliver future state integration architecture
• Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analysing, and structuring relevant data
• Ensure the best technical solution across the life cycle of design, development, operational service and ongoing enhancement.
• Assist business user during CRPs/SITs/UATs
• Implementing integration best practices, conduct trainings and mentoring team members.
• Working on project assessment for end-to-end analysis of a project's scope, scale, deliverables, objectives, and impacts.
• Support end users in resolving the reported incidents within prescribed SLA.
• Work in shifts to support client support engagements.
• Should be willing to travel onsite on short term or long term on need basis.
• Participate in business sales cycle.

Key skills:

• Minimum 7.5 to 8 years of relevant work experience on Boomi.
• Should have led a team in atleast 3 different engagements with a client facing role.
• Good acumen and insight into the workings of Boomi led architecture. Knowledge on Boomi Admin setup and license cost estimates will be an advantage.
• Knowledge on API Management module with experience on Boomi gateway, broker, IDP, developer portal, plans and subscription will be a plus.
• Should have sound design knowledge with respect to different Integration Patterns File/Batch/real time. Should be well versed with Web Service fundamentals.
• Familiarity with the alerts and events framework in Boomi.
• Working experience on Boomi connectors - Disk, FTP, Mail, Databases(Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc), Web services listener, Atom Queue, HTTP client, Web Services SOAP, REST clients.
• Experience in integrating very large Enterprise applications ERP systems (Oracle, SAP etc.), CRM systems (Siebel), Salesforce etc.
• Experience with a variety of relevant Web Services technologies, including RESTFUL APIs (XML, JSON), SOAP APIs, SOA, SFTP/PGP/SSL and Microservices.
• Should be aware of the principles of cloud based architecture like SaaS, PaaS, multi-tiered architecture and have good knowledge on code migration via CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding on schema design for different profiles like EDI, JSON, database etc
• Experience on Technology and Application adaptors (Primarily: File, FTP / SFTP, DB, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce).
• Good knowledge on Java/Groovy and Javascript.
• Extensive knowledge of ANSI and EDIFACT EDI standards
• Strong understanding of various security protocols like Basic, OAuth, Client Certificate etc.
• Experience of having worked in an onsite- offshore delivery model would be a plus.
• Experience of having worked in a CMMI environment would be a plus.
• Should have experience on various deployment models and best practices.
• Should be able to provide appropriate approach and processing mechanisms for API implementation , message routing, content enrichment, message filtering, message transformation, guaranteed delivery, DLQs handling, message sequencing, batch processing, error handling and compensation mechanisms.
• Good understanding on documenting Integration Solution Architectures.
• Knowledge on Agile scrum and waterfall methodology.
• Boomi Professional Developer Boomi Professional Architect certification is mandatory.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• College degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.)
• Atleast 7.5 years of experience as a quality consultant in Software Delivery Excellence.
• Knowledge on Quality Process & Improvement tools.
• Should be able to handle Risk management and customer escalations.
• Should be able to interact across different layers within the organization.

Additionally, good to have

• Knowledge on other Middleware platforms like MuleSoft, OIC etc will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA, TFS, Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools
• Exposure and knowledge about SDLC, Waterfall, SaFE Agile & Scrum methodologies

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Ability to define processes for teams.
• Experience in project audits and reviews.
• Ability to analyse risks and metrics of projects.
