AWS Cloud Security Engineer Cybersecurity

Job Scoperesponsibilities

Should have good handson knowledge on AWS cloud security native controls including solutioning implementation architecture and cloud governance

Should have good understanding on SaaS IaaS and PaaS FaaS cloud model

Should have experience in federating AWS IAM Identity Centre to the customer management identity provider like EntraID Okta Ping Identity platform

Experience on different AWS cloud security services like AWS Identity and Access Management IAM AWS Audit Manager Amazon Cognito Amazon Detective AWS Firewall Manager Amazon GuardDuty Amazon Inspector

Amazon Macie AWS Network Firewall AWS Secrets Manager AWS Security Hub

AWS Shield Amazon Verified Permissions AWS WAF but not limited to

Having good knowledge of different cybersecurity frameworks and map to cloud AWS security services to adopt the security standards

Analyzing the current cloud security policies and providing recommendations to improve the security score of the cloud environment

Having knowledge of creating landing zones in AWS environment and implementing the same

Analyze the current security posture Cloud and provide right security controls to implement in multiple cloud environments

Having good knowledge on integrating AWS security solution to third party solution like SIEM

Having experience to provide the best security practice and to implement the same in the AWS environment

Monitor and remediate security issues on AWS cloud environment for the customer accountsubscription Handle the activity individually

Analyze the missing security controls if any in our scope and take proactive measures and evaluate the effectiveness of the existing security control to find the security gap

Experience with developing technical engineering artifacts including requirements traceability matrices network diagrams data flow diagrams etc

Experience in provisioning AWS Cloud security services using Terraform or any IAC platform

Having knowledge of serverless functions like AWS Lambda and implementing those for security automation is added as an advantage

Knowledge of Zero trust principle microsegmentation is an advantage

Knowledge of integrating the onprem solution with the cloud native solution

Knowledge and hands on experience in implementing third party security controls in AWS environment like palo altocheckpointFortinet firewall or any other solution is added as an advantage

Having knowledge of configuring resilient architecture for cloud security

Experience in AWS resource maintenance monitoring and issue troubleshooting
