Job Summary

Kailashwashi Foods is looking for an experienced and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations. The candidate will assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, chopping, cutting, cleaning, and handling kitchen equipment.

Candidates with experience in South Indian, North Indian, or Gujarati cuisine are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in daily food preparation and kitchen activities.
• Wash, peel, cut, chop, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients.
• Assist in preparing South Indian, North Indian, and Gujarati dishes.
• Handle basic kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Support chefs during busy hours and ensure timely food preparation.
• Arrange and store ingredients properly.
• Assist with maintaining kitchen stock.
• Keep kitchen utensils, workstations, and equipment clean.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support the kitchen team in maintaining smooth daily operations.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain proper food handling practices.

Eligibility

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Helper or in a similar kitchen role.
• Experience in hotels, restaurants, fast-food outlets, or similar establishments preferred.
• Knowledge of South Indian, North Indian, or Gujarati cuisine is an advantage.
• 10th pass or below 10th candidates can apply.
• Good knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a full-time day-shift role.
