Job Description
Industry: Automotive Manufacturing
- Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day stores and inventory activities.
- Maintain accurate material inward, outward and stock records.
- Enter all purchase and sales invoices in Excel accurately and on time.
- Procure factory consumables and regularly required items.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices and follow up with suppliers.
- Maintain minimum stock levels and avoid shortages/excess inventory.
- Verify incoming material against PO, invoice/challan and quantity.
- Maintain proper records of invoices, GRNs, challans and purchase orders.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Dispatch and Accounts.
- Requirements3–5 years of Stores/Purchase experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of Excel and inventory documentation.
- Basic understanding of purchase/sales invoices and GST.
- Good vendor follow-up, negotiation and record-keeping skills.
