Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, factory accounts, GST/TDS compliance, cost accounting, and vendor reconciliation. You will work closely with the management, procurement, and sales teams to maintain transparent financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Accounting & Daily Operations

• Maintain up-to-date account books, general ledger accounts, and transaction entries in ERP/Tally.
• Process vendor invoices, match Purchase Orders (POs) with Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and execute timely supplier payments.
• Manage customer billing, tax invoice creation, debit/credit notes, and accounts receivable tracking.
• Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and petty cash audits.

2. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform 2B reconciliations.
• Handle TDS deductions, quarterly TDS filings, and issuance of Form 16/16A certificates.
• Coordinate with external auditors and CA firm for statutory audits, tax audits, and annual financial filings.

3. Manufacturing & Inventory Accounting

• Track job-work costs, raw material consumption, machinery project costing, and overhead allocations.
• Assist in inventory valuation, physical stock verification, and material reconciliation at the plant level.
• Calculate project-wise profitability for individual packaging line contracts.

4. Payroll & Financial Reporting

• Process monthly employee salary payouts, including Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, and Professional Tax (PT) calculations.
• Generate monthly Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and aging reports for management review.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education - Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com) or Master's Degree (M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter).

Experience - Min 2 years of core accounting experience in a manufacturing or engineering setup.

Technical Skills - Advanced hands-on experience in Tally Prime / ERP, MS Excel, GST Portal, and E-Way bill generation.

Compliance Knowledge - Deep understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, GST laws, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

Core Competencies - High analytical accuracy, commercial acumen, vendor reconciliation, and strong communication skills.
