Job Description – Video Editor & Videographer


Position: Video Editor & Videographer

Company: Markmydigi Technologies

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Aundh, Pune


About the RoleWe are looking for a Video Editor & Videographer who can handle both video shooting and video editing for our clients and internal projects. The candidate should have basic practical knowledge of shooting videos, framing, lighting, camera/mobile handling, and editing short-form content such as Instagram Reels and promotional videos.


Key Responsibilities

  • Shoot videos and reels at client locations.
  • Handle basic camera/mobile videography, framing, angles, lighting and audio.
  • Edit Instagram Reels, promotional videos, social media content and client videos.
  • Create engaging short-form videos according to the brand requirements.
  • Perform basic cuts, transitions, text, music, sound effects and color adjustments.
  • Coordinate with the content/social media team to understand video requirements.
  • Travel to different client locations for shoots.
  • Manage and organize raw footage and edited files.
  • Complete assigned shoots and edits within deadlines.
  • Maintain consistency in video quality and brand style.


Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Video Shooting and Video Editing.
  • Familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, VN, Filmora or similar tools.
  • Good understanding of framing, composition, camera angles and lighting.
  • Ability to shoot content using a smartphone/camera and basic equipment.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Creative mindset and willingness to learn.


Mandatory Requirements

  • Must have your own laptop suitable for video editing.
  • Must have your own bike/two-wheeler for travelling to client locations.
  • Must have basic practical knowledge of video shooting and editing.
  • Valid driving licence and required vehicle documents.
