Associate Principal - Software Engineering
Digital analytics lead
Role Overview
The Generative Engine Optimization GEO Executive will be responsible for optimizing brand content and digital assets for visibility across AIpowered search platforms and generative engines such as ChatGPT Google AI Overviews Gemini and other LLMbased systems The role blends traditional SEO with structured data content intelligence and AIfocused optimization strategies to enhance discoverability citation frequency and answer relevance
Key Responsibilities
1 AI Search GEO Optimization
Optimize content for AIgenerated search results including ChatGPT Gemini and AI Overviews
Improve brand visibility in generative responses featured answers and citations
Implement promptaware content structuring to align with LLM retrieval patterns
2 Content Strategy Enhancement
Collaborate with content teams to create AIfriendly entityrich and contextually complete content
Enhance page depth semantic relevance and questionanswer formats aligned to user intent
Drive structured content formats such as FAQs summaries and knowledge panels
3 Structured Data Technical Optimization
Support implementation of schemastructured data Article FAQ Product Organization etc
Ensure content is machinereadable crawlable and optimized for AI indexing
Partner with technical teams on metadata canonicalization and crawl directives
4 Monitoring Performance Tracking
Track brand visibility across AI engines using GEO tools SEMrush AIO Perplexity etc
Analyze shifts in traffic patterns due to AIdriven search experiences
Monitor citations mentions and presence in AIgenerated answers
5 Competitive Entity Analysis
Conduct competitor benchmarking for AI visibility and answer share
Identify content gaps entity coverage gaps and opportunity areas
Build topical authority and entity relationships across content ecosystems
