Summary:
As a Database Administrator, your typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to ensure their optimal performance and reliability. You will be responsible for installing database management systems and developing procedures that support daily maintenance activities and efficient problem resolution. Your role requires a proactive approach to managing database environments, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the overall infrastructure to meet organizational needs effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize database performance and security.
- Monitor database health and implement necessary updates or patches to maintain system stability.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Security.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, backup, and recovery techniques.
- Experience in managing user access and permissions within database environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance tuning methods.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Security.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
