  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, including how DevOps practices integrate into these lifecycles.

  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages commonly used in DevOps and automation (e.g., Java, Python, or Node.js) as part of scripting and tooling support.

  • Experience with Agile/ Scrum practices and modern collaboration tools (e.g., Git, JIRA, Confluence) as part of product delivery and team workflows.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

  • Exposure to security-conscious development, including secure CI/CD, access management, and compliance considerations.

  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response in cloud or distributed environments.

Note: Further tool-specific requirements (e.g., particular CI/CD platforms, cloud providers) may be defined in job postings as needed to reflect project needs, but the above reflects the core software proficiency expectations derived from the requirements provided.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to the maintainability, scalability, and quality of the codebase and deployment pipelines.

  • Resolve technical issues, provide tiered support to team members, and ensure rapid incident response and recovery.

  • Work closely with the testing team to ensure automation, tested deployments, and quality standards are met.

  • Promote sustainable and efficient practices in deployments, including cost-conscious cloud usage and energy-efficient architectures where applicable.
