Service Engineer

1. Installation and Commissioning:

* Install and configure weighbridge systems, sensors, and automation components at client sites.

* Perform system commissioning and ensure optimal functionality.

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

* Conduct routine maintenance to ensure system reliability and accuracy.

* Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.

3. Technical Support:

* Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.

* Assist clients in understanding and operating the installed systems effectively.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

* Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and client feedback records.

* Prepare and submit detailed technical reports post-service visits.

5. Client Interaction:

* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address concerns.

* Provide technical guidance and training as required.

6. Compliance and Safety:

* Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company and client policies during service operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

* Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.

Technical Skills:

* Hands-on experience with weighbridge systems, sensors, RFID, ANPR, and PLCs.

* Basic knowledge of automation systems, including IIoT and industrial communication protocols (e.g., RS232, RS485, Ethernet).

* Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used for troubleshooting.

Soft Skills:

* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Customer-focused with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Other Requirements:

* Willingness to travel extensively to client sites.

* Valid driver’s license.

* Ability to work independently and in team environments.
