Transport Executive - Job Description

Position Summary: Manages and coordinates transportation operations to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods, materials, or personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily transportation schedules and routing for vehicles and drivers. Monitor fleet operations including vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and compliance with safety regulations. Liaise with vendors, logistics providers, and internal teams to optimize transportation services. Track shipments and deliveries to ensure on-time performance. Maintain transportation records, documentation, and reports. Ensure compliance with traffic laws, environmental regulations, and company policies. Handle transportation-related issues, delays, and escalations promptly. Support procurement of transportation services and vendor management.

Required Skills: Strong organizational and coordination abilities, knowledge of logistics and transportation management, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in relevant software systems.
