Job Description – System Operator

Company: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

Position: System Operator – Examination Operations

Job Type: Full-Time

  • Job ResponsibilitiesConduct and manage computer-based examinations as per the given guidelines and procedures.
  • Set up and operate computer systems and examination software.
  • Ensure smooth and timely execution of examination activities.
  • Monitor systems during examinations and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Maintain examination-related records and follow all security and confidentiality protocols.
  • Coordinate with the examination team and report any technical or operational issues.

  • Working Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Working Days: 6 days a week


  • Training: 1 month of training in Kolkata is required.
  • Training Expenses: Company will provide applicable travel, accommodation, and other allowances/expenses as per company policy.
  • Interview: Online interview
  • Interview Timeline: Interview will be conducted within 1–2 days for shortlisted/interested candidates.
  • Candidate RequirementsBasic computer knowledge and good operating skills.
  • Ability to handle examination-related systems and follow instructions carefully.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Willingness to work 6 days a week and travel to Kolkata for the training period.
  • Responsible, punctual, and comfortable working in a time-sensitive examination environment.
