Senior Jacquard Designer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Jacquard Designer with strong knowledge of weaving, fabric construction, Jacquard design development, and textile sketching. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing innovative fabric designs from concept to production and should have a strong understanding of weaving techniques and Jacquard looms.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop creative and commercially viable Jacquard fabric designs as per market and customer requirements.
• Create and develop hand sketches, motifs, patterns, and textile designs.
• Convert concepts and sketches into production-ready Jacquard designs.
• Have strong practical knowledge of weaving techniques, fabric structures, yarns, and Jacquard looms.
• Coordinate closely with the weaving and production teams to ensure designs are technically feasible.
• Develop new patterns, textures, structures, and fabric collections.
• Review samples and make necessary design modifications before bulk production.
• Troubleshoot design and weaving-related issues during sampling and production.
• Keep updated with new textile trends, patterns, colours, and market developments.
• Work closely with the production team to maintain design quality and consistency.
• Maintain design records and ensure proper documentation of developed designs.

QualificationDiploma / Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design, Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred.

Experience7–10 years of relevant experience in Jacquard designing, weaving, and fabric manufacturing.

Preferred Candidate: Someone with hands-on experience in a fabric manufacturing setup, rather than only a design studio, with the ability to take a design from sketch → Jacquard development → sampling → production.
