Job Description
Stock Management: Receive, unpack, label, and shelve incoming shipments. Inspect goods for damage and reconcile discrepancies with purchase orders.
Inventory Control: Maintain up-to-date logs using inventory software, conduct regular physical stock counts, and apply stock rotation methods like FIFO (First-In, First-Out).
Order and Issuance: Issue materials to authorized personnel and initiate purchase requisitions when stock levels fall below minimum thresholds.
Safety and Cleanliness: Keep the storage area clean, safe, and organized while ensuring hazardous or delicate materials are handled according to safety guidelines.
