Job Description
Role Description As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee daily quality control activities and drive continuous improvement across our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Quality Control & Compliance: Monitoring production processes, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring strict adherence to food safety and regulatory standards.
Policy Management: Developing, implementing, and updating Quality Assurance (QA) policies, procedures, and documentation.
Audit Coordination: Managing and coordinating both internal and external quality audits.
Team Leadership: Leading, training, and mentoring the QA staff to foster a strong safety and quality culture.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with production and procurement teams to resolve quality issues and analyze data.
Issue Resolution: Investigating non-conformities and managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Product Development: Supporting new product development by providing strict quality and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a QA or QC role within the food or FMCG industry, with a proven track record of handling audits and certifications.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety standards, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP, ISO standards, FSSC 22000 v6).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving for process and product quality issues.
Documentation: Proven ability to develop and implement SOPs, quality documentation, and training programs for cross-functional teams.
Software Proficiency: Comfort using quality management software, ERP systems, and standard office tools for reporting and documentation.
Soft Skills: Effective leadership, team management, and communication skills, combined with a high attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
