We are seeking a motivated, skilled and collaborative Frontend Developer who is ready to help us to make beautiful, elegant and responsive digital experiences at LSEG.

If that is who you are then our Digital Design capability at LSEG is looking for someone just like you to join our diverse team and be part of our Experience Engineering team of front end developers.

We are keen to find that special someone who will take delight in showcasing our FTSE Russell indices and data and will take personal satisfaction in making our collective vision come to life.

You will be an integral part of building brilliant, data-rich experiences for our customers. You will bind together our Forge Design System and our agile scrum teams experiences. Key Responsibilities you can look forward to

• Develop and maintain customer facing digital applications using your front end skills and our Forge design system components.

• Implement data driven components and pages for FTSE Russell content using libraries such as D3.js, Highcharts, Chart.js, and ag-Grid.

• Collaborate with UX, QA, and delivery teams to ensure design consistency and technical quality.

• Apply best practices for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.

• Manage version control and branching strategies using Git.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues.

• Know the latest to stay ahead of frontend technologies and trends.

Technical Skills that will help us to know it could be match

• React (primary), familiarity with Vue or Angular.

• Charting/Data Visualization: D3.js, Highcharts, Chart.js.

• Data Tables: ag-Grid or similar.

• CSS3 and Styling: SASS/PostCSS, modular CSS (BEM).

• Accessibility: WCAG compliance.

• Build Tools: Webpack, NPM/Yarn.

• Testing: JEST, Enzyme.

• Version Control & CI/CD: Git, Jenkins.

• CMS Platforms: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore.

• API Integration: RESTful services.

• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) front end components

Education and Experience that we like to hear about

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or, if you have outstanding relevant experience, then let us know...

• Confirmed experience collaborating to build web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React is our core frontend development language).

• Experience with Git and agile development methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills using your technical knowledge and your collaboration behaviours

• Thoughtful communication practices to understand and unpick requirements into phenomenal solutions
