Lead - BEx & QMS
Responsibilities

A. Business Excellence Framework & Governance
- Design and deploy Business Excellence frameworks (aligned to ABEx / EFQM / Lean / Six Sigma principles) across the organization
- Establish enterprise-wide governance mechanisms for process standardization, audits, and compliance
- Partner with Quality, EHS, Projects, and Operations teams to ensure integrated excellence systems
B. Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Lead structured improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve cycle times
- Identify improvement opportunities through data analytics, audits, and performance benchmarking
- Drive transformation programs aligned with strategic business goals and operational priorities
C. Performance Management & KPI Governance
- Define and institutionalize KPI frameworks aligned with business goals (project delivery, cost, quality, safety, customer satisfaction)
- Track performance through dashboards and analytics; drive review mechanisms with leadership
- Enable data-driven decision-making and performance accountability across functions [Strategic...X, FY26-27 | Word]
D. Process Excellence & Standardization
- Map, standardize, and optimize critical business processes across lifecycle (design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations)
- Ensure documentation, SOPs, and best practice repositories are maintained and continuously improved
- Drive digital enablement and automation for key processes
E. Audit, Compliance & Benchmarking
- Lead internal audits, maturity assessments, and readiness for external certifications/awards
- Benchmark processes and performance against global data center and infrastructure standards
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for systemic improvement
F. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership (Projects, Operations, Quality, Finance, HR)
- Act as a strategic partner to Head – Quality in driving enterprise-level initiatives
- Interface with external consultants, auditors, and excellence bodies
G. Capability Building & Culture
- Build Business Excellence capability across teams through training, workshops, and certifications
- Promote culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Develop internal assessors and champions for excellence programs.

Head – Quality, Projects, Operations, Engineering, EHS, Finance, HR, Digital/IT
External:
Consultants (ABEx/EFQM), Auditors, Certification bodies, Industry forums
Key Dimensions / Success Metrics
- % improvement in key operational KPIs (cost, schedule, quality, productivity)
- Adoption and maturity of Business Excellence frameworks
- Reduction in process inefficiencies / rework / NCRs
- Audit scores, certification achievements, and benchmarking outcomes
- Digital adoption and process automation impact
- Capability building (certified Lean/Six Sigma professionals)
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (preferred) with MBA / PGDM (optional)
- 8–12 years of experience in Business Excellence / Operational Excellence / Quality
- Strong exposure to infrastructure / EPC / data center / industrial projects preferred
Functional & Technical Skills
- Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
- Business Excellence frameworks (EFQM / Baldrige / ABEx)
- Process mapping & optimization
- Data analytics and KPI dashboarding
- Quality systems, audits, and compliance
- Digital transformation and automation mindset
