One key component of this Digital Transformation is the implementation of solutions to enable the data-value chain in Airbus and its Division and to make the best use of Data in Airbus, whether to optimize our business processes or to create new business values via data monetization

Airbus is looking for one Cloud DevOps Engineer to join in Bangalore, India.

The successful candidate will assess and understand business needs focussing on Enterprise Stream Data Processing Platform across Big Data within Airbus and thereafter translate such into IT solutions.

• Engineering graduate/post-graduate with 4 - 6 years of experience in developing, delivering Cloud (preferrably AWS and Confluent Cloud) , DevOps based solutions. 

• Working closely with Product Owner to analyze, assess and understand business needs and translate such into IT solutions.

Essential Skills

• Mandatory: Advanced proficiency in Jenkins, specifically in designing and maintaining Jenkins Shared Libraries using Groovy scripting.

• Mandatory: Proficient in guiding teams on Serverless framework, CDK, and Terraform for AWS ( Knowledge of Confluent Cloud stacks would be a plus )

• Mandatory: Strong knowledge of DevSecOps tools 

• Nice to Have: Knowledge on Kubernetes, Docker, Git

• Nice to Have: Strong understanding of software development, design concepts, and architectural principles would be appreciated

• Mandatory: Get an experience building and maintaining distributed applications at scale in AWS services ( it would be a plus if its include Lambda, EMR, S3, Glue, MSK, and Athena )

• Nice to Have: Could be Good to have experience in Confluent cloud like Building pipelines, Tableflow, Confluent CLI, and data security/access management

• Mandatory: Experience in monitoring and observability using tools like AWS CloudWatch 

• Not mandatory: Technical expertise in Apache Kafka and Apache Spark

• Nice to Have: Experience in designing and working with real-time streaming data platforms

• Nice to Have: Experience in Linux shell scripting

• Nice to Have: Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban environments using Agility, Confluence, ServiceNow

 Others:

• Nice to Have: Knowledge of continuous integration frameworks and some of the following products/tools: VersionOne, etc.,

• Mandatory: Willing to work in CET / IST timezone based on project need

• Mandatory: Comfortable with technical documentation scripture

• Nice to Have: Knowledge on support processes (ITSM) & incident management using ServiceNow.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing  solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements at scale for business needs.

• Involvement in the full delivery lifecycle – responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, testing, documenting, supporting and operating libraries & frameworks.

• Deep technical understanding of the platform architecture with the ability to maintain and optimize at every layer of the stack.

• Developing using CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of IT assets across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production

• Packaging, maintaining and deploying development tooling 

• Publishing and maintaining high quality technical documentation such as guideline documents and standards

• Coaching, mentoring and enabling other Software Engineers

• Responsible for tech watching and proposing recommended state of the art solutions
