Communication & Language Teacher – At-Home Classes | Sarjapur

Openhouse is looking for engaging and enthusiastic teachers to conduct 1:1 Communication & Language classes for children at their homes in and around Sarjapur, Bangalore. The classes focus on developing children's spoken language, vocabulary, communication, confidence and self-expression through activity-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct engaging 1:1 classes at students' homes using the Openhouse curriculum.
2. Facilitate activities such as conversations, storytelling, vocabulary building, role plays, speeches and presentations.
3. Adapt sessions based on the child's age, confidence and learning needs.
4. Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and the Openhouse team.
5. Conduct trial classes for interested families when required.
6. Attend periodic teacher training sessions and team meetings.
7. Maintain punctuality and professionalism while visiting students' homes.

Time Commitment

Any 5 days a week | Approx. 20 hours per week

• Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Location

• Currently hiring for Sarjapur and nearby areas.
• Classes will be conducted at students' homes.
• Students will be assigned within nearby areas wherever possible to minimise travel.
• Candidates should be comfortable travelling locally.

• Prior teaching experience is preferred, but freshers with strong communication skills can also apply.
• Candidates living in or around Sarjapur, Haralur, Kasavanahalli, Bellandur or nearby areas will be preferred.
