Factory Supervisor

We are hiring an active and experienced Factory / Workshop Supervisor to manage daily operations for custom caravan fabrication and prefabricated structure manufacturing. The role involves managing workshop labor, tracking inventory, operating basic computer systems for records, and coordinating material procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Workshop & Floor Supervision: Oversee daily fabrication, welding, carpentry, electrical wiring, and assembly to ensure on-time delivery and high build quality.
• Worker & Team Management: Assign daily tasks to fabricators, carpenters, and helpers; monitor active work, attendance, and floor productivity.
• Computer & Record Keeping: Operate computers to maintain daily production reports, material inward/outward registers, stock levels, and worker logs in MS Excel or management software.
• Inventory & Purchasing: Keep accurate stock counts, avoid material wastage, request vendor quotations, place orders, and verify delivered goods.
• Machinery & Maintenance: Inspect workshop machinery, power tools, and equipment periodically to ensure timely servicing and safe operation.
• Quality & Safety Control: Enforce workshop safety practices and conduct stage-by-stage quality checks on ongoing builds.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: 2–5+ years of supervisory experience in automobile body building, fabrication yards, interior fit-outs, or prefab structure manufacturing.
• Computer Skills: Must know basic computer operations (MS Excel, Word, email, and digital stock/log entry).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of metal fabrication, TIG/MIG welding, carpentry, FRP, and basic auto-electrical/plumbing systems.
• Language: Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi; basic functional English for computer entries and vendor bills.

Job Details & Timings

• Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
• Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 / month (Based on experience and skills)
