Electrical Technician

Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.

Attend electrical complaints from guest rooms, restaurants, public areas and back-of-house areas promptly.

Maintain and troubleshoot LT panels, DBs, MCCs, MCBs, ACBs, contactors and control panels.

Handle electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures and emergency lighting systems.

Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, pumps and other hotel equipment.

Monitor and maintain DG sets, UPS, batteries and power backup systems.

Perform routine inspection of electrical rooms, plant rooms and service areas.

Support maintenance of HVAC electrical systems, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment and other hotel utilities.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance as per the approved schedule.

Record maintenance activities, breakdowns, readings and completed work orders.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools and testing instruments.

Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements and hotel safety standards.

Report unsafe conditions, electrical hazards and major equipment failures immediately.

Support emergency breakdowns and power restoration whenever required.

Coordinate with the Engineering Supervisor / Chief Engineer and external vendors when required.

Maintain good housekeeping in electrical rooms and work areas.
