Project Engineer (HVAC/MEP)

Position: Project Engineer (HVAC/MEP)

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

•

Assist Sales Managers in coordinating project activities and achieving business objectives.

•

Provide engineering expertise to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures.

•

Serve as a technical resource for facility operations, focusing on process optimization, project development, implementation, and specification of replacement or repair parts.

•

Lead and coordinate teams involved in the design of mechanical systems, HVAC, commercial kitchen ventilation, and MEP works, conduct training sessions for end users.

•

Evaluate project designs for adherence to engineering principles, customer requirements, quality standards, and technical specifications.

•

Review and approve design modifications and drawings prior to production release.

•

Coordinate design, production, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.

•

Supervise and monitor on-site contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and cost control measures.

•

Prepare and present weekly progress reports to reporting managers.

•

Work flexibly, including extended hours and night shifts, when required.

•

Maintain full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures always.

•

Support the Service Engineer in the execution of service operations and related technical activities.

•

Represent AVANTE professionally and ethically in all business interactions.

•

Build and nurture strong relationships with clients through proactive and consistent communication.

•

Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to encourage future collaboration and referrals.

•

Conduct client follow-ups, arrange site visits and meetings, and take necessary actions to strengthen business relationships within defined timelines.

•

Network effectively with existing customers to sustain ongoing partnerships.

•

Provide clear technical advice and practical solutions to customers.

•

Collaborate with the project and service teams, ensuring smooth coordination and effective communication.

•

Oversee and execute service and project activities at client sites, including AMC services, installations, testing, and commissioning.

•

Candidates must be willing to travel to various site locations as and when required by customer demand and should be flexible to work during both day and night shifts to ensure timely execution of site activities.

Requirements:

•

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

•

Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD, MEP (experience in professional kitchens or HVAC systems will be an advantage).

•

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is essential & MEP (HVAC) Knowledge.

•

Strong written and spoken English; additional language skills are an asset.

•

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Emails/ Project Reports) with a customer-oriented approach.

•

Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

•

Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with international teams.
