Summary
As a GCP DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will drive CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud operations, and platform reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and management of DevOps practices for cloud-native applications.
Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and reliable software delivery.
Manage cloud infrastructure, deployments, and platform operations on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline release management.
Implement monitoring, logging, security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Mentor team members, conduct technical reviews, and drive DevOps best practices across projects.
Support production deployments, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Stay updated with emerging DevOps, Cloud, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) technologies.

Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have Skills
6–8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, IAM, VPC, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.
Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and container orchestration.
Strong knowledge of Linux administration, Shell scripting, Python, and Git.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, and ELK.
Good understanding of networking, security, IAM, load balancing, SSL, DNS, and cloud architecture.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Good to Have Skills
Experience with Anthos, Istio, and Service Mesh.
Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
Experience with Helm, Argo CD, and GitOps methodologies.
Knowledge of DevSecOps, security scanning, and compliance automation.
Experience supporting Data Engineering, AI/ML, or microservices platforms on GCP.
Experience in Manufacturing, Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, or Industry X projects.

Additional Information
The candidate should have 6–8 years of overall experience, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in GCP DevOps.
Prior experience leading DevOps teams and managing enterprise cloud environments is preferred.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
