Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Prism Analytics & Workday Accounting Center (WAC) Consultant with strong expertise in Workday Financials, data management, accounting transformations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade analytics, accounting, and integration solutions that improve financial visibility, automate accounting processes, and drive operational efficiency.
• This role requires close collaboration with global stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, IT, and business teams, particularly in the United States, making strong communication skills and flexibility to work during US time-zone overlap hours essential.

What You’ll do:

• Workday Accounting Center (WAC)
  • Configure and maintain Workday Accounting Center transformations, accounting rules, and financial processing logic.
  • Design and implement accounting mappings, posting rules, journal source configurations, and transaction transformations.
  • Build and support Accounting Rules, Journal Sources, Journal Line Rules, and ledger posting frameworks.
  • Support inbound integrations from sub-ledgers and external systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot journal generation, reconciliation, and posting issues.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant, and auditable ledger postings.
    
• Workday Prism Analytics
  • Design, build, and maintain Workday Prism Analytics data pipelines, including data sourcing, blending, transformation, publishing, and data enrichment.
  • Load, transform, and manage large-scale datasets within Workday Prism.
  • Develop and maintain calculated fields, custom datasets, dashboards, and advanced reporting solutions.
  • Create meaningful financial and operational reports and insights.
  • Optimize Prism dataset performance, data governance, and security.
  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders on advanced analytics solutions.
    
• Integration & Data Management
  • Design, develop, and support EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and custom integrations.
  • Manage data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and audit compliance.
  • Support Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT activities.
    
• Collaboration & Support
  • Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with global teams across the United States and other regions.
  • Participate in solution design workshops and process optimization initiatives.
  • Provide production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and business processes.
  • Support Workday releases and enhancements.
  • Work effectively in a global delivery model and support US business hour overlap as needed (Preferably 5PM to 2PM IST).

What we are looking for:

• 10–12 years of overall IT experience, including 5–6 years of hands-on Workday experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Accounting Center (WAC), and Workday Financials.
• Solid understanding of Accounting Principles, General Ledger (GL), Journal Processing, Financial Reconciliation, and Financial Controls.
• Proven experience configuring Accounting Rules, Accounting Transformations, Journal Sources, Journal Line Rules, and Posting Logic within WAC.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Integrations, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio (preferred).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting US-based stakeholders and global teams.
• Must be flexible and willing to work during US time-zone overlap hours.
