Job Description: SAP Solution Architect

 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to join our team. As an SAP Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing SAP solutions that align with our business goals and technology landscape. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in achieving project objectives.

 

Responsibilities

• Solution Design and Architecture
  • Develop and implement comprehensive SAP solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Design scalable and sustainable SAP architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and processes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of current systems and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Ensure the architecture adheres to best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop reference architectures and blueprints

• Project Leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and IT professionals, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project team members.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

• Technical Expertise
  • Strong experience of SAP solutions, including SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BW, SAP ECC, SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP, SAP SLT (not exhaustive)
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Conduct technical reviews and evaluations of proposed solutions to ensure feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and select appropriate SAP tools and services.

• Integration and Optimization
  • Design and implement integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow between SAP systems and other EY enterprise applications.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks to enhance system efficiency.

 

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP solution architecture and implementation.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing SAP solutions for large-scale enterprises.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work across time zones and collaborate with global teams.
• Relevant SAP certifications are a plus, but not required.
