Sr Functional Analyst (Transportation Management)

Scope:

• Ability to visualize solution and translate customer or PMG business requirements into functional design solution.
• Ability to work with more than one scrum team to accomplish delivery targets with respect to feature completeness and quality aspects
• Ability to make tactical decisions about product direction and be able to contribute to strategic decisions
• Ability to work with members from other departments like customer support and sales
• Ability to define and take accountability of definition of done for a feature

Our current technical environment:

• Software: Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite

What you’ll do:

• Works with project team to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements.
• Works with all levels of Blue Yonder (formerly JDA Software) associates in developing functional specifications, analysis of user needs and testing.
• Participates in business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project that leads to writing functional specifications.
• Ensures the security and integrity of corporate assets and intellectual property. Ensures compliance with the internal and external company policies and procedures
• Handles activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Exercises judgment on methods and techniques for obtaining solutions within generally defined practices and policies.
• Co-ordinates project tasks on engagements

What we are looking for:

• 3-5 years of industrial or domain experience
• Transportation domain experience is mandatory
• Possesses deep functional knowledge of a product and an understanding of the solution suite domain.
• Experience in building SaaS based application/next gen solution in Transportation domain
• Exposure to customer interaction and able to communicate on product capabilities to them
• Mentor or guide junior team members
• Quality focused development, define stories, definition of done, story/feature sign off
