Job Description:

Position: Client Relationship Executive – Modular Furniture & Interior Showroom

Job Purpose:

To manage walk-in customers and leads at the modular furniture & interior showroom, understand their requirements, present suitable products and design solutions, generate quotations, follow up with prospects, and convert enquiries into confirmed projects while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Handling

• Welcome and professionally attend to showroom walk-in customers.
• Understand customer requirements for modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, storage, bedroom furniture and complete interiors.
• Identify customer preferences, budget, space requirements and expected timelines.
• Explain products, materials, finishes, accessories, hardware and design options.
• Conduct showroom product demonstrations and design presentations.

Lead Conversion

• Generate and manage leads from walk-ins, telephone enquiries, website/social media enquiries and referrals.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed orders/projects and achieve assigned sales targets.

Project & Customer Coordination

• Handle customer queries, complaints and service issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Collect customer feedback and support repeat/referral business.

Showroom Management

• Ensure product displays, samples, catalogues and material boards are properly maintained.
• Keep the showroom presentable and customer-ready.
• Maintain daily enquiry, follow-up and sales reports.
• Maintain accurate customer and project records.

Job Specification:

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or related technical qualification.

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Modular furniture showroom, Modular kitchen/wardrobe sales support, Interior design showroom, Furniture, doors, windows sales support, lead conversion, Home interiors

Technical Knowledge

Candidate should have basic knowledge of:

• Modular kitchen and wardrobe concepts, Modular furniture and interior products. Plywood, MDF, HDF, laminates, acrylic, glass and other finishes.
• Furniture hardware and accessories, Basic measurements and space planning.
• Basic understanding of floor plans, elevations and furniture layouts.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/SketchUp or similar software is an advantage.
• MS Office/Excel and CRM software.
• Required SkillsExcellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Good product presentation ability.
• Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
• Good understanding of customer requirements.
• Ability to explain technical information in simple language.
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and showroom etiquette.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to handle multiple customers and projects simultaneously.

Job Location: Bhubaneswar

Salary: 15-22k (Negotiable for deserving candidate)
