Counter Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, confident, and customer-focused Counter Sales Executive to join our ladies' garments store. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting suitable garments, explaining product features, maintaining the sales counter, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their requirements.
• Assist customers in selecting ladies' garments based on their preferences, size, style, and budget.
• Explain product details, prices, offers, discounts, and available sizes.
• Display and arrange garments neatly on shelves and counters.
• Maintain proper presentation and cleanliness of the sales area.
• Handle customer queries and provide polite and helpful service.
• Support billing and packing activities when required.
• Maintain proper stock arrangement and inform the supervisor about low-stock items.
• Help with new stock display and product arrangement.
• Encourage customers to explore suitable products and support sales targets.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to the store manager when required.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming environment inside the store.

Skills & Qualifications

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Pleasant personality and positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge or interest in ladies' fashion and garments.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and suggest suitable products.
• Basic calculation and billing knowledge.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Smart, well-presented, and disciplined.
• Prior retail/garment sales experience will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates with experience in ladies' garments, fashion retail, boutique, saree, dress-material, ethnic wear, or apparel stores are preferred.
• Freshers with good communication and customer-service skills are welcome.

Working Conditions

• Full-time retail store position.
• Candidate should be comfortable standing and interacting with customers for extended periods.
• Flexible working hours/shift timings may apply depending on store requirements.

Compensation

Salary: ₹8000– ₹15000per month

Additional: Sales incentives/attendance incentives may be provided based on company policy.
