Job SummaryUDS is looking for an experienced Safety Executive – Fire & Safety to manage safety aspects related to Building Infrastructure, Project Management and Office Repair & Maintenance activities at a corporate facility.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Fire & Safety equipment, emergency preparedness, risk assessment, site safety and contractor safety management.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day Fire & Safety operations and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards.
• Inspect and monitor fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, hose reels, fire alarms, emergency exits and other fire & safety equipment.
• Ensure fire & safety equipment is maintained, tested and available for use.
• Conduct regular fire safety inspections, safety audits and emergency preparedness checks.
• Develop and implement project-specific Safety Plans, HIRA and JSA.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections for project, repair and maintenance activities.
• Review and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) and ensure safe execution of work.
• Ensure proper PPE implementation by employees, contractors and vendors.
• Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT) and safety awareness/training programs.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and stakeholders on safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and near misses and ensure timely closure.
• Investigate incidents and prepare RCA, Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports.
• Monitor and report safety performance metrics.
• Support implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, fire and occupational safety regulations.
• Support emergency drills, evacuation procedures and fire response preparedness.
• Contribute towards building a strong safety culture across the facility.
• Candidate RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Safety Management or Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety / equivalent qualification.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in Fire & Safety / EHS.
• Strong practical knowledge of Fire & Safety equipment and systems.
• Experience in corporate facilities, building infrastructure, projects or facility management will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of HIRA, JSA, PTW, TBT, PPE and safety audits.
• Knowledge of applicable occupational health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 will be an advantage.
• Good communication, reporting and coordination skills.
• Should be capable of independently handling safety inspections and coordinating with contractors/vendors.

💰 Compensation₹42,000/- Take Home per Month
