Job Description
- Site Engineer – Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily site activities.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for daily activities.
- Monitor work progress and ensure completion as per project schedule.
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Check material quality and quantity before use at site.
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and equipment.
- Monitor productivity and minimize material wastage.
- Conduct site measurements and verify completed quantities.
- Ensure all work complies with quality standards and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate inspections with client/consultant and close observations or punch points.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Conduct toolbox talks and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Monitor housekeeping and maintain a safe working area.
- Identify technical/site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Maintain records of drawings, permits, checklists, inspection reports, and approvals.
- Coordinate material requests and follow up with procurement/store teams.
- Verify subcontractor work and report completed quantities for billing.
- Report delays, shortages, risks, and site requirements to management.
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
- Ensure completion, testing, documentation, and handover of assigned works.
