About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Computer Hardware & Networking Engineer with strong hands-on experience in desktop, laptop, printer, networking, CCTV and chip-level motherboard repair. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues at the component level and providing on-site and remote technical support to clients.
- Key Responsibilities1. Desktop & Laptop Hardware SupportDiagnose and repair desktop and laptop hardware problems.
- Troubleshoot motherboard, RAM, CPU, SMPS, HDD, SSD, NVMe and other components.
- Perform laptop and desktop assembling, upgrading and servicing.
- Troubleshoot No Power, No Display, Auto Shutdown, Overheating, Charging and Booting issues.
- Replace defective components such as keyboards, displays, DC jacks, batteries, fans and storage devices.
- Perform Windows installation, formatting, driver installation and system configuration.
- Perform data backup, cloning and basic data recovery.
- 2. Chip-Level / Motherboard RepairDiagnose motherboard faults at component level.
- Perform SMD component identification and replacement.
- Troubleshoot power-sequence and power-rail issues.
- Work with MOSFETs, ICs, capacitors, resistors, coils and other motherboard components.
- Diagnose short circuits using a multimeter and DC power supply.
- Perform BIOS programming/reprogramming and BIOS-related troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot charging circuits, power circuits and USB-related motherboard faults.
- Perform component-level soldering and desoldering.
- Use soldering station, hot-air rework station, multimeter and DC power supply.
- Ability to read and understand basic motherboard schematics and boardview diagrams will be preferred.
- 3. NetworkingInstallation and configuration of LAN networks.
- Configure routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points and network devices.
- Troubleshoot LAN connectivity, IP addressing, DNS and DHCP issues.
- Perform CAT6 cable termination and testing.
- Configure shared folders, printers and basic network resources.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity and network-related problems.
- Basic knowledge of VLAN, VPN and firewall configuration will be an advantage.
- 4. CCTV & Security SystemsInstallation and basic troubleshooting of IP and analog CCTV systems.
- Configure NVR/DVR, IP cameras and PoE switches.
- Troubleshoot camera connectivity and recording issues.
- Perform CAT6 cabling and termination.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV networking will be preferred.
- 5. Field & Client SupportVisit client locations for hardware, networking and IT support.
- Attend service calls and resolve technical issues within the required SLA.
- Maintain proper service reports for every client visit.
- Communicate professionally with clients and explain technical problems clearly.
- Coordinate with vendors/OEMs when replacement parts or warranty support is required.
- Maintain proper records of repaired and replaced components.
- Required Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Desktop & Laptop Hardware.
- Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Hands-on chip-level motherboard repair experience.
- Knowledge of soldering and SMD component replacement.
- Knowledge of BIOS programming.
- Experience with multimeter, DC power supply, soldering station and hot-air station.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking and TCP/IP.
- LAN cabling and RJ45 termination.
- Router and switch configuration.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems.
- Hardware assembling and preventive maintenance.
- Preferred SkillsExperience with laptop motherboard repair.
- Ability to read schematics and boardview files.
- Experience in MacBook motherboard repair will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of data recovery tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of printer troubleshooting.
- Experience working in an IT service company or multi-client environment.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license for field visits will be preferred.
- Educational QualificationITI / Diploma / B.Tech / BCA / equivalent qualification in Computer Hardware, Networking, Electronics or IT.
- Candidates with strong practical experience may also be considered.
- Personal SkillsGood troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
