Cleaner

Daily Cleaning Duties

• Sweep and mop all floor areas (kitchen, seating area, entrance) at opening, closing, and as needed during service
• Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and counters after every customer use
• Clean and disinfect food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils
• Wash dishes, cups, glasses, and cutlery; ensure proper drying and storage
• Empty trash bins regularly and replace liners; dispose of waste in designated areas
• Clean and restock restrooms (soap, tissue, hand towels) and disinfect fixtures

Equipment & Deep Cleaning

• Clean blender machines, grinders, and other equipment per manufacturer guidelines
• Descale machines and clean filters on a scheduled basis
• Wipe down refrigerators, freezers, and storage shelves; remove expired items
• Clean windows, glass display cases, and mirrors
• Deep-clean floors, grout, and hard-to-reach areas on a weekly/monthly schedule

Hygiene & Safety Compliance

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP or local equivalent)
• Report maintenance issues, pest sightings, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately
• Maintain personal hygiene standards (clean uniform, handwashing protocol)

Stock & Supplies

• Monitor and report low stock of cleaning supplies (soap, sanitizer, garbage bags, gloves)
• Assist with unloading and storing cleaning supply deliveries

Other Duties

• Support opening/closing checklist completion
• Assist staff during peak hours with basic clearing/wiping if needed
