Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and dedicated Pest Control Operator to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting premises, identifying pest infestations, and applying effective and safe chemical or non-chemical treatments to eliminate pests. Prior experience is preferred, but willing freshers with a strong work ethic may also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection: Inspect residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify pest problems (insects, rodents, termites, etc.) and the extent of infestation.
- Treatment Application: Safely mix and apply pesticides, insecticides, and other chemicals according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Equipment Handling: Properly use, maintain, and store pest control equipment, sprayers, and safety gear.
- Customer Service: Explain treatment procedures to clients, answer their queries, and provide preventive advice to avoid future infestations.
- Documentation: Maintain daily service reports, treatment logs, and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in pest control services or a related field (freshers with a technical aptitude are welcome).
- Skills: Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (tight spaces, outdoors, etc.), basic knowledge of safety procedures regarding chemical handling, and good communication skills (ability to speak local languages like Malayalam/English/Hindi is a plus).
- License: A valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
