Job Purpose : Indian Weight Loss Diet is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Videographer who can shoot high-quality recipe videos for the IWLD YouTube Channel and also support the strategy, planning, and execution of recipe-based content.

The candidate will not only shoot recipe videos but also help collect recipe ideas from students, coordinate with the cook to finalize recipes before shooting, and ensure that every recipe is properly tested, improved, and ready before the camera starts rolling.

The main goal is to create clear, attractive, practical, and engaging weight loss recipe videos that show viewers that IWLD-approved food can be tasty, simple, and easy to follow.

Key Responsibilities1. Recipe Strategy & Planning●      Plan recipe video content for the IWLD YouTube Channel

●      Suggest new recipe ideas based on IWLD diet principles, student needs, festivals, seasons, and trending food content

●      Identify recipes that can attract views, help students, and support IWLD course promotions

●      Maintain a recipe content calendar for YouTube videos, Shorts, and Instagram Reels

●      Coordinate with the content team to decide recipe titles, hooks, thumbnail moments, and video structure

●      Ensure recipes are practical, easy to understand, and suitable for IWLD students and followers

2. Collecting Recipe Ideas from Students●      Collect recipe ideas, food innovations, and meal experiences from IWLD students

●      Identify students who are making interesting IWLD-approved recipes at home or hostel

●      Take inputs from successful students about their favorite weight loss meals

●      Maintain a record of student-submitted recipes with student name, ingredients, process, and result

●      Share good student recipes with the cook/content team for testing and improvement

●      Use student recipe stories as relatable content angles wherever possible

3. Recipe Finalization Before ShootingNo recipe should be shot without proper finalization.

Before every shoot, the Videographer must confirm with the cook that:

●      The recipe has already been prepared before the shoot

●      The cook has tasted the recipe

●      The taste, texture, appearance, and cooking process are finalized

●      Required improvements have already been made

●      Ingredients and quantities are clear

●      Final plating/presentation is decided

●      The recipe is IWLD-approved and suitable for the channel

●      The cook is confident that the recipe is ready for shooting

Finalized recipe means: the cook has already made the recipe, tasted it, checked the result, improved it if needed, and confirmed that it is ready to be recorded.

4. Pre-Shoot Recipe ChecklistBefore starting the shoot, the Videographer must check:

●      Recipe name is finalized

●      Ingredients are ready and measured

●      Cooking steps are clear

●      Cook/presenter knows the flow

●      Final dish look is already decided

●      Required utensils, plates, bowls, and props are ready

●      Kitchen is clean and camera-ready

●      Lighting, camera, mic, and memory card are ready

●      Thumbnail shot idea is planned

●      Shorts/Reels moments are planned

●      Recipe has been approved by cook/content team for shooting

5. Recipe Video Shooting●      Shoot high-quality recipe videos for the Indian Weight Loss Diet YouTube Channel

●      Capture complete cooking process step-by-step

●      Shoot ingredients, preparation, cooking, plating, and final presentation

●      Ensure every important recipe step is clearly visible

●      Capture close-up shots of food texture, cutting, mixing, frying, cooking, and serving

●      Make weight loss food look tasty, clean, and attractive on camera

●      Shoot both horizontal YouTube videos and vertical clips for Shorts/Reels when required

6. Kitchen Shoot Setup●      Set up camera, tripod, lights, mic, and shooting angle before recipe shoot

●      Ensure kitchen area looks clean, organized, and camera-ready

●      Maintain proper framing of cooking counter, utensils, ingredients, and presenter

●      Avoid messy backgrounds, poor lighting, unnecessary noise, or distracting elements

●      Coordinate with cooks, recipe team, Richa Ma’am, Sumeet Sir, or content team before shoot

7. Camera and Equipment HandlingThe candidate should be comfortable using:

●      DSLR / mirrorless camera

●      iPhone, if required

●      Tripod

●      Gimbal

●      Overhead camera setup

●      Wireless mic

●      Basic lighting setup

●      Ring light / softbox

●      Memory cards, batteries, and backup equipment

The Videographer must take care of all equipment and ensure everything is charged, clean, and ready before the shoot.

8. Food Styling and Visual Presentation●      Arrange food, plates, bowls, ingredients, and utensils neatly before shooting

●      Make sure the final dish looks fresh, attractive, and appetizing

●      Suggest better angles, plating, and background setups for recipe videos

●      Capture beauty shots of the final recipe for thumbnails, reels, and YouTube promotion

●      Ensure IWLD-approved food is presented in a premium and trustworthy way

9. YouTube-Friendly Shooting Style●      Shoot videos in a way that keeps viewers engaged till the end

●      Capture multiple angles for better editing

●      Take wide shots, close-ups, overhead shots, and reaction shots

●      Record intro, recipe process, final plating, taste reaction, and outro properly

●      Understand YouTube requirements like watch time, clarity, retention, and thumbnail moments

●      Capture separate shots for YouTube thumbnail and short-form promotion

10. Coordination with Content and Editing Team●      Coordinate with the recipe/content team before every shoot

●      Understand the recipe, ingredients, sequence, and important teaching points

●      Work with editors by providing properly shot footage

●      Share clear notes about best shots, important moments, and recipe flow

●      Coordinate with YouTube Manager for video requirements, thumbnail shots, and short clips

●      Ensure footage is delivered on time for editing and uploading

11. Audio and Lighting Quality●      Ensure proper lighting on food, cooking area, and presenter

●      Avoid shadows, dark shots, overexposure, and shaky footage

●      Ensure clear audio when the presenter is explaining the recipe

●      Check mic placement and sound before recording

●      Reduce background noise during recipe shoots

12. Backup and Footage Management●      Backup all recipe footage daily

●      Maintain folders date-wise, recipe-wise, and shoot-wise

●      Label raw footage properly for easy editing

●      Save thumbnail shots, final dish shots, and short-form clips separately

●      Avoid loss of important footage

●      Maintain basic shoot records and report completed shoots to the Production Head

Required Skills●      Good camera handling skills

Daily Responsibilities●      Collect and shortlist recipe ideas

●      Confirm finalized recipe with cook before shoot

●      Prepare camera, lights, mic, and setup before recipe shoot

●      Coordinate with recipe team/cooks for ingredients and preparation

●      Shoot complete recipe process clearly

●      Capture final dish beauty shots

●      Shoot extra clips for reels, shorts, thumbnails, and promotions

●      Backup and organize all footage

●      Share footage with editor/content team on time

●      Maintain shoot quality and kitchen presentation

●      Report completed shoots and pending recipe status to Production Head/YouTube Manager

Key Performance Indicators●      Number of recipe videos shot weekly/monthly

Preferred Experience●      Prior experience in food videography or recipe video shooting

●      Experience with YouTube recipe channels will be preferred

●      Basic editing knowledge will be an advantage

●      Experience with DSLR/mirrorless camera and iPhone shooting

●      Experience in shooting reels/shorts will be an added advantage

●      Experience in recipe planning or food content strategy will be preferred

Salary Range₹20,000 to ₹40,000 per month

Final salary will depend on camera skills, food shooting experience, lighting knowledge, editing sense, recipe strategy ability, and quality of output.
