Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business needs.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system stability.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level business intelligence and data integration tools.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and impact.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of data services workflows.
- Excellent communication skills to document issues and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- This position is based at our DDC 1 - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
