Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless integration of various systems and data models. The position demands active engagement in aligning platform components to support organizational data needs, fostering a cohesive and efficient data environment. The role also includes continuous evaluation and enhancement of platform elements to maintain optimal performance and scalability within the data ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to align data platform strategies with organizational goals and technical requirements.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAS Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of data platform architecture and design principles.
- Experience working with integration and data architecture teams to develop cohesive data solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex data systems and recommend improvements for scalability and performance.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on collaborative solution development.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAS Analytics.
- This position is based at our HC3 - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
