Job Description
Post-1, MEP Tendering Engineer
An MEP Tender Engineer prepares cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and commercial bids for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in construction and infrastructure projects and industrial projects.
• *Tender Review:* Analyze drawings, scopes, and specifications for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• *Cost Estimation:* Conduct quantity take-offs and develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• *Vendor Coordination:* Collect and compare quotes from subcontractors and equipment suppliers.
• *Rate Analysis:* Calculate direct and indirect project costs, margins, and value-engineering alternatives.
• *Bid Submission:* Prepare complete techno-commercial proposals before strict deadlines
• *Education:* B-tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• *Technical Knowledge:* Strong command of HVAC, electrical HT/LT systems, plumbing, and fire protection.
• *Software Skills:* Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation platforms.
• *Commercial Acumen:* Understanding of contract types, market rates, and negotiation.
