Role Overview

In this role, you will conduct in-depth secondary market research while actively utilizing Generative AI and data analytics tools to enhance productivity, insight generation, and presentation quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-backed reports, client presentations, whitepapers, competitive intelligence briefs, and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

Secondary Market Research & Intelligence

• Conduct comprehensive secondary research using premium databases, industry reports, regulatory filings, government publications, and credible online sources.
• Analyze competitive landscapes, industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities.
• Extract and synthesize large volumes of structured and unstructured data into actionable insights.

AI-Powered Research & Content Development

• Leverage Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini AI, Claude, etc.) to:
• Draft client-ready presentations, executive summaries, whitepapers, and research briefs.
• Summarize long-form industry reports into concise insight documents.
• Generate structured outlines for market entry reports and technical documentation.
• Enhance clarity, tone, and professional formatting of deliverables.
• Use AI-assisted tools for:
• Sentiment analysis
• Trend identification
• Thematic clustering
• Competitive benchmarking
• Automated data cleaning support
• Design effective AI prompts to optimize output quality and ensure factual alignment.
• Apply critical validation to AI-generated content to ensure accuracy and credibility.

Data Analytics & Visualization

• Clean, manipulate, and analyze datasets using:
• Python (Pandas, NumPy)
• Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query)
• Build interactive dashboards using:
• Power BI / Tableau
• Translate complex data into visually compelling and decision-oriented visualizations.

Reporting & Technical Deliverables

• Prepare:
• Market assessment reports
• Industry landscape decks
• Competitive intelligence reports
• Technical whitepapers
• Short analytical briefs
• Executive presentations
• Ensure deliverables are structured, insight-led, and client-ready.

Collaboration & Project Support

• Work closely with senior researchers and analysts on multi-client projects.
• Support proposal preparation and business development initiatives.
• Align research findings with marketing, strategy, and product development objectives.
• Manage multiple research assignments with strict adherence to deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing Research, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in secondary research, analytics, or business intelligence (Freshers with strong technical skills may apply).

Technical Skills

Data Analysis

• Advanced Excel (data cleaning, pivot tables, lookup functions, Power Query)
• Python (Pandas, NumPy for data manipulation and analysis)
• Basic statistical understanding

Business Intelligence & Visualization

• Power BI or Tableau (dashboard creation, storytelling with data)

Generative AI & Automation (Highly Preferred)

• Practical experience using:
• ChatGPT / Gemini AI / similar LLM tools
• Ability to:
• Engineer structured prompts
• Refine AI-generated drafts
• Validate and fact-check outputs
• Automate repetitive documentation tasks
• Understanding of AI limitations, bias control, and responsible usage

Documentation & Presentation

• MS Word (structured reports, formatting, documentation)

• Experience with research databases (Factiva, Bloomberg, S&P Global Market Intelligence)
• Web scraping basics (with ethical and legal awareness)
