Production / Manufacturing Head

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Plan and control daily/weekly/monthly production.

•⁠ ⁠Take responsibility for complete panel manufacturing from drawing/BOM to dispatch.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate:

  * CNC Fiber Laser Cutting

  * Sheet Metal Fabrication

  * CNC/Press Brake Bending

  * Welding/Fabrication

  * Powder Coating

  * Busbar Processing

  * Panel Assembly

  * Electrical Wiring

  * Testing

  * Inspection

  * Dispatch

•⁠ ⁠Read and understand electrical SLD, GA, fabrication and wiring drawings.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Project teams.

•⁠ ⁠Allocate manpower according to production priorities.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor worker productivity and discipline.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure production is completed according to approved drawings and BOM.

•⁠ ⁠Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective action.

•⁠ ⁠Reduce material wastage, rework and production delays.

•⁠ ⁠Supervise CNC Fiber Laser operators and ensure efficient machine utilisation.

•⁠ ⁠Plan sheet cutting/nesting to reduce wastage.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure proper coordination between laser cutting, bending and fabrication.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor busbar fabrication and assembly activities.

•⁠ ⁠Conduct stage-wise production inspections.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure panels are ready for customer/RITES/third-party inspection on schedule.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain production records, daily production reports and pending-work reports.

•⁠ ⁠Train and improve the skills of production workers.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain 5S, safety and discipline on the shop floor.

•⁠ ⁠Take ownership of production targets and delivery commitments.

Required Technical Experience

The candidate should preferably have direct experience in:

•⁠ ⁠LT Electrical Panels

•⁠ ⁠PCC Panels

•⁠ ⁠MCC Panels

•⁠ ⁠APFC Panels

•⁠ ⁠AMF/Auto Changeover Panels

•⁠ ⁠MDB/SMDB Panels

•⁠ ⁠Synchronising Panels

•⁠ ⁠Electrical Switchgear

•⁠ ⁠Busbar fabrication

•⁠ ⁠Sheet-metal panel fabrication

•⁠ ⁠CNC Fiber Laser Cutting

•⁠ ⁠Press Brake/CNC Bending

•⁠ ⁠Panel assembly and wiring

•⁠ ⁠Electrical panel testing

•⁠ ⁠Customer/third-party inspection

Mandatory Requirements

1.⁠ ⁠Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in electrical panel manufacturing.

2.⁠ ⁠Practical knowledge of LT panel manufacturing processes.

3.⁠ ⁠Ability to read electrical and fabrication drawings.

4.⁠ ⁠Experience in managing production workers/technicians.

5.⁠ ⁠Experience with CNC Fiber Laser or similar sheet-metal CNC machinery.

6.⁠ ⁠Ability to independently plan and control shop-floor production.

7.⁠ ⁠Strong problem-solving and team-management skills.

8.⁠ ⁠Willingness to work hands-on on the shop floor.
