Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Commis to join our kitchen team! As a Commis, you will play a vital role in supporting our senior chefs and cooks in food preparation, presentation, and plating. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills, work with a talented team, and contribute to the success of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior chefs and cooks in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Prepare ingredients, including chopping, dicing, and marinating
- Cook dishes, including soups, sauces, and entrees
- Plate and garnish dishes to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist with food storage and inventory management
- Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service
