Shivam Enterprises is a manufacturer and supplier of electrical accessories and modular electrical products under the ZECTO brand.

Our product range includes fan regulators, dimmers, modular switches, sockets, modular plates, gang boxes, MCBs, plugs, bulb holders, doorbells, power strips and other electrical accessories.

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Accountant who already has knowledge and previous work experience in the electrical accessories/electrical products industry.

This is important

We are not looking for someone who will need to be trained on the products and basic terminology of the electrical industry.

The ideal candidate should already understand products such as:

• Modular switches
• 6A / 16A switches and sockets
• Fan regulators and dimmers
• Modular plates
• Modular boxes / gang boxes
• MCBs
• Plugs and top plugs
• Bulb holders
• Doorbells
• Power strips
• Electrical accessories and related products

Experience with an electrical products manufacturer, distributor, wholesaler or electrical accessories trading company will be strongly preferred.

Key Accounting Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts in BUSY Accounting Software
• Sales and purchase accounting
• Customer and supplier ledger maintenance
• Accounts receivable and payable
• Customer outstanding and payment follow-up
• Prepare outstanding and ageing reports
• Purchase and sales invoice accounting
• Stock/inventory accounting
• Bank reconciliation
• GST-related accounting
• TDS and routine accounting requirements
• Debit and credit notes
• Customer and supplier reconciliation
• Maintain proper accounting records
• Coordinate with the company’s CA
• Prepare basic MIS and management reports
• Assist management with receivables, payables, stock and cash-flow information

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory:

• 3–7 years of accounting experience
• Practical experience with BUSY Accounting Software
• Previous experience in the electrical products / electrical accessories industry
• Good understanding of GST
• Good MS Excel knowledge
• Experience with inventory and stock accounting
• Experience handling customer and supplier ledgers
• Experience with receivables and outstanding payments

Preferred Background

Candidates who have previously worked with:

Electrical manufacturers

Electrical accessory distributors

Electrical wholesalers

Switch/socket companies

Fan/regulator companies

Electrical hardware businesses

Electronics/electrical trading companies

will be given preference.

The candidate should already understand the products, terminology, SKU-based inventory and commercial workings of an electrical accessories business.

Working Hours

4–5 hours per day, Monday to Saturday.

Working hours can be discussed depending on the candidate’s availability and business requirements.

Salary

₹15,000–₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and capability.

We are willing to pay towards the higher end of the range for a candidate who has strong BUSY knowledge and substantial previous experience in the electrical accessories industry.
