ELECTRICAL, ELV & BMS ESTIMATION ENGINEER

Location: Andheri, Mumbai | Employment: Full-Time

Role Objective

Responsible for quantity take-off, estimation, BOQ preparation, costing and techno-commercial documentation for Electrical, ELV and BMS projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documents.

Estimate quantities for cables, trays, ladders, conduits, panels, DBs, MCCs, lighting, earthing and ELV/BMS systems.

Prepare cable schedules, load calculations and material quantity calculations.

Study tender documents and identify scope inclusions, exclusions and deviations.

Conduct rate analysis, vendor enquiries and comparative statements.

Prepare and revise AutoCAD electrical/ELV layouts as required.

Coordinate with design, procurement, site and commercial teams.

Support preparation of client quotations, technical clarifications and variations.

Maintain material rate databases and estimation records.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

3–8 years relevant experience in electrical estimation/tendering.

Strong knowledge of Electrical BOQ, quantity take-off and costing.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Knowledge of ELV/BMS/Automation will be an advantage.

Good understanding of electrical materials, installation practices and standards.
