Job Description
A Facility Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day functioning of a building or site, ensuring that all services and systems run smoothly. The role typically involves managing maintenance activities, supervising housekeeping and security staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Supervisors monitor equipment performance, schedule routine inspections, and handle emergencies such as breakdowns or safety hazards. They also liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized services, maintain records of operations, and prepare reports for management. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead teams are essential, as the supervisor acts as the central point of accountability for the facility’s upkeep, efficiency, and resident or client satisfaction.
