Job Description

To perform pricing/valuation of securities and OTC Derivatives for assigned clients.
l Product scope:
l Securities - Fixed income securities, Bank Loans, Equities, Exchange Traded Derivatives etc.
OTC Derivatives – Credit Default swaps, Interest Rate swaps, Equity swaps, Equity Options,
Swaptions etc.
l
Understanding client’s valuation policy and governing documents and ensuring the implementation
of the same.
l
l Compare prices/ valuations across different sources
l Conduct materiality and sensitivity tests.
Analyze valuation exceptions. Understanding valuation model inputs, greeks, market data etc. to
adequately justify valuation exceptions. Understanding corporate actions and its impact on pricing.
l
l Collect and analyze market data
l Challenge vendor prices against Manager and broker quotes.
l Resolution of valuation queries
l Take responsibilities in compilation of valuation transparency reports.
l Documentation of valuation supports for audit requirements,
l The role requires extensive liaison with pricing/market data vendors, clients and Fund Accountants.
l Escalation of critical valuation related issues.
l Implement standardization & automation of processes where necessary.
