Store Manager

Job Profile

We are looking for an experienced and organized warehouse professional to oversee inventory management and day-to-day store operations. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records, efficient stock movement, proper storage practices, and smooth warehouse operations while leading the store team and maintaining high standards of inventory control.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, operational discipline, and a thorough understanding of warehouse and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse store operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock availability through effective inventory planning and control.
• Monitor inward and outward material movement, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials in line with company standards. (LiFO/FiFO)
• Supervise and guide the warehouse team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Accounts for timely material movement and inventory updates.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely reports.
• Maintain warehouse documentation, stock registers, and inventory reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and warehouse best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and warehouse processes.
• Perform other warehouse and inventory management responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Experience with inventory reconciliation, stock audits, and material documentation.
• Proficiency in Computer, Microsoft Excel, warehouse management, and ERP/Tally software.
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
