Technical Product Coordinator – Railway Projects

 Job Summary

We are looking for technically qualified and motivated Diploma / B.Tech candidates in ECE, EEE or ECI to support our organisation in Railway Projects.

The selected candidate will be responsible for communicating with clients regarding their project requirements, understanding technical requirements, preparing quotations and purchase-order-related documents, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting the execution of Railway Project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Communication & Business Development

Ø Contact existing and prospective clients regarding Railway Project requirements.

Ø Understand client requirements and collect necessary technical and commercial information.

Ø Follow up with clients regarding enquiries, quotations and purchase orders.

Ø Maintain professional communication with customers through phone, email and other business channels.

1. Quotation & Purchase Order Activities

Ø Prepare and submit quotations based on customer requirements.

Ø Coordinate with the concerned technical, purchase and commercial teams for pricing and specifications.

Ø Review customer Purchase Orders and coordinate for further processing.

Ø Prepare quotation comparisons, commercial statements and other related documents.

Ø Maintain proper records of enquiries, quotations, POs and customer communications.

1. Railway Project Coordination

Ø Understand basic Railway Project requirements, products and technical specifications.

Ø Coordinate with project teams for product requirements and technical information.

Ø Support preparation of technical and commercial documentation.

Ø Coordinate with suppliers/vendors wherever required for Railway Project requirements.

Ø Follow up on delivery, project requirements and customer commitments.

1. Reporting & Documentation

Ø Maintain daily/weekly enquiry and follow-up reports.

Ø Maintain quotation and Purchase Order tracking records.

Ø Prepare customer follow-up reports and project status updates.

Ø Ensure proper filing and documentation of Railway Project-related records.

Desired Skills

Ø Good communication and client-handling skills.

Ø Basic knowledge of Electrical/Electronics systems.

Ø Ability to understand technical specifications and product requirements.

Ø Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and Email.

Ø Good quotation preparation and documentation skills.

Ø Good follow-up and coordination skills.

Ø Willingness to learn Railway products and project requirements.
