General Manager / Business Operations Head

Suri Medical Agencies is looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager / Business Operations Head to work closely with the ownership team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management and future growth of the business. This is not a desk-only managerial position.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations; coordinate accounts, billing, store, dispatch and field teams; establish clear responsibilities, workflows and reporting systems. Review performance of Solan, Shimla and other markets; monitor field staff coverage, orders, billing and customer development; identify under-performing territories and corrective plans. Review customer outstanding balances and collections; ensure disciplined receivables follow-up; oversee controls for receipts, supplier payments, banking and reconciliation with the accounts team (the GM oversees but does not replace the dedicated Accounts Executive or CA). Oversee billing, picking, packing and dispatch; improve accuracy and turnaround time. Manage and review field, accounts and operational staff; establish KPIs; conduct performance reviews; assist with recruitment. Provide management with periodic reviews covering sales, collections, territory performance, customer issues, and growth opportunities.

Candidate Profile: substantial experience in pharmaceutical distribution, pharma sales/management, FMCG/distribution, wholesale operations, business operations, or territory/area management. Strong leadership, commercial understanding, operational discipline, comfort with numbers and reports, integrity, willingness to remain hands-on. Preferred 8-15+ years of relevant experience. Based in or willing to relocate to Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
