Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Junior Factory Floor Supervisor. As a Junior Supervisor, you will work closely with senior supervisors to oversee the manufacturing operations on the factory floor. Your role will involve managing a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, maintaining production schedules, and optimizing efficiency to meet production targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience in a manufacturing environment and develop their leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Supervise Production Activities: Assist senior supervisors in coordinating and overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production flow and adherence to quality standards.
Team Management: Lead and support a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure high productivity and job performance.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, monitor compliance with safety regulations, and promote a culture of safety awareness among the team.
Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes, including machine operations, equipment maintenance, and material availability, to ensure uninterrupted production and timely delivery of products.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure products meet established quality standards and perform routine quality checks throughout the production process.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, or other operational challenges in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain optimal productivity levels.
Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, tracking raw materials, and coordinating with procurement to ensure an adequate supply of materials for production.
Process Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements, optimizing workflows, and implementing efficiency measures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, shift summaries, and incident reports, and provide regular updates to senior supervisors.
Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, such as health and safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and labor laws.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to enforce them effectively.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production requirements.
